Opel Brings Telemetry to Astra OPC
Previously, only specialized workshops could access this kind of data. Now you can visualize the mighty performance of the Astra OPC with the OPC Power App: Up to 60 values can be displayed on your iPhone including G-force, lateral acceleration, torque and engine boost pressure. Therefore driving enthusiasts are able to analyze and optimize their driving performance.
Measurements are taken by the iPhone sensors and from your car’s so-called “CAN bus”, which bundles the signals from the different vehicle areas. This data is gathered using an optional smartphone controller available from your Opel dealer.
