Opel Eye Front Camera System is a specialized high-resolution camera that helps you drive safer. It is mounted in the socket of the interior mirror and offers three innovative features: Traffic Sign Assistant, Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Alert.

The Forward Collision Alert monitors the distance of a vehicle in front and alert the driver of potential collisions. At speeds above 40 km/h, it triggers visual and audible warnings if you approach slower-moving vehicles too fast. They can be adjusted at three different distance settings.

In this newly refined system, the same camera senses if you leave your lane of travel unintentionally. It then sounds an acoustic warning signal that is accompanied by a warning sign in the rpm gauge.

The Traffic Sign Assistant continuously monitors road signs like speed limits and no-overtaking sings and showing them on the instrument panel display.
