The signature wing shape of the Insignia’s driving lights is recreated in the interior by a daring line that sweeps from the instrument panel to the door and back again.

The INSIGNIA DESIGN COCKPIT.

Complete comfort. Detailed attention to quality, ergonomics and air control have lifted the Insignia into another world. The wrap-around design of the driver-oriented cockpit puts everything into your reach. In order to further simplify driver interaction with the infotainment systems, a new center mounted push-button controller operates eight functions including audio, phone, and satellite navigation menus.

The INSIGNIA INFINITY SOUND SYSTEM.

The Insignia also offers the option of an Infinity Sound System. This high-end system uses 7 x 45 W direct channels with DSP (Digital Sound Processors) to drive 9 speakers in the four door Notchback model and 8 speakers for the five door Hatchback and Sports Tourer. The result: an exquisite acoustic experience under all driving conditions.

The INSIGNIA INFOTAINMENT UNIT.

The Insignia boasts a top-quality infotainment system with a range of new interfaces, navigation features and extreme user-friendliness. The Insignia infotainment unit is set at an angle of 30°. That allows the center console to flow, enhancing the car’s feel of speed and spaciousness.

The INSIGNIA FLEXRIDE SWITCH.

The Insignia features FlexRide switches that let you choose from 3 different driving modes: “Sport” for a more responsive drive, e.g.: stiffer damping, tighter speed-sensitive steering and sportier shifting (with the automatic transmission). “Tour” for relaxed cruising: the dampers react more softly for a smoother ride. “Standard” is the default mode and focuses on fuel economy and refined driving. In ‘Sport’ mode, the instrument lights turn from white to red, the visual cue to a very sporty ride.

The INSIGNIA CLIMATE CONTROL.

The Insignia offers highly advanced air-conditioning comfort with Electronic Climate Control. Standards include separate vent outlets for rear passengers, forecasting temperature control and a charcoal filter system. Single or dual-zone Electronic Climate Control keeps the ambient temperature exactly where you want it.

The INSIGNIA MULTIFUNCTION CONTROLLER.

The turn-push multifunction controller of the Insignia makes using the navigation system or selecting from the available menus easy. Simply select the menu, then turn to scroll and push to select. Available with navigation systems in combination with the Electric Parking Brake with Hill Start Assist.

The INSIGNIA CENTER CONSOLE.

The Insignia’s center console is all about flexibility and intelligence: adjustable armrests, ergonomically placed controls, a multi-use storage box, and Aux-in/USB for your mobile devices. The layered design of the console gives the illusion that the shifter is floating and makes the interior feel even roomier.

The INSIGNIA ERGONOMIC SPORT SEAT.

The Insignia’s fully orthopedic Ergonomic Sport Seat adjusts 8 ways with additional 4-way lumbar support and has the best adjustment ranges in the industry. The perforated leather version with heat and ventilation, fingertip electric operation and memory bring the Insignia into the luxury category. But if you prefer something simpler, the manually adjustable cloth-covered version provides the same level of ergonomic support.

The INSIGNIA INSTRUMENT CLUSTER.

The Insignia’s deep instrument cluster proudly protrudes from the flowing dashboard. Chronometer-inspired tubes surround the instruments, the chrome decorations and dynamic lighting give the cockpit a sporty edge. And when you press the FlexRide Switch for ‘Sport’ mode, the instrument lights turn from white to red, the visual cue to a very sporty ride.

The INSIGNIA PREMIUM MATERIALS.

The detailed attention given to high quality materials has lifted the Insignia into another world. The beautifully detailed interior is also available in premium “Indian Summer” Nappa leather. The warm, cognac-like color features distinctive Cashmere stitching on the seats, door inserts, steering wheel and gear shifter. But, no matter which trim level you select, the main surfaces are all textured with soft touch materials and chrome accents can be found throughout.

The INSIGNIA VERSATILITY.

The Insignia is so special because of the attention to detail. A comprehensive range of storage and stowage is right there where you need it, easy to reach and generously sized – from the cleverly designed centre armrest to thoughtful extras for rear seat passengers. The 60/40 split rear seats have a load-through function so you can load for skis and other long items without having to fold down the seats.

The INSIGNIA SCULPTED DESIGN.

The interior design themes of the Insignia echo the flowing lines and dynamic curves that characterize the exterior styling. The side blade sculpted into the exterior body is repeated here, harmonizing the car. Variations of the blade are seen on the center stack, in the grab handle of the door and even in the shifter.

The INSIGNIA TOP TEC.

Using the latest in nanotechnology, Top Tec coatings prevent spilt fluids, grime and other unwelcome stains from sinking into the upholstery fabric, without affecting the “breatheability” of the material. The result is a noticeably fresher, cleaner interior. Top Tec is standard with all beige interiors.

The INSIGNIA MOBILE OFFICE.

The Insignia is equipped for you life-on-the-go. If you want to charge your computer, TV or other device on the road, an optional 230-V power outlet is available in the rear storage bin. Naturally, USB and aux-in connections are available for your mobile devices. You can also choose from a wireless Bluetooth™ solution for your cell phone or an integrated system with phone specific cradle that charges the mobile’s battery.
