Rüsselsheim. Today, in the presence of TÜV Hessen, Opel conducted an emissions test on a Zafira with a 1.6-liter diesel engine on a four-roller test bench, during which the rear wheels were in motion. The emission values that were measured comply with legal limits. The full TÜV report is currently being completed.
With this, Opel sees its position confirmed and once again emphatically rebuts the claims of the German Environmental Relief. The allegations are clearly false and unfounded.
It remains valid for all of our cars and without exception: GM-developed software has no features that detect whether the vehicle is undergoing an exhaust emissions test.
