From the very first glance the new Opel Mokka looks strong. The high and wide stance is subtly emphasized by the muscular profile, sculpted wheel arches and wheels up to 18 inch. Seen from the front, the deep valence with black elements and recessed fog lights provides the perfect basis for the integral front bumpers. The upper and lower grille with chrome badge bar and the wrap around bi-xenon headlight clusters all add to the businesslike, but elegantly compact overall perception.
Smoothly substantial
From the front three-quarter aspect the steeply raked windscreen and substantial B and C pillars hint at athletic go-anywhere strength and capability. The upsweep of the lower window line is subtly matched and enhanced by the Opel specific sculpted blade motif, which also adds an extra element of stability. The black side moldings that integrate into the wheel arches and front and rear lower bumpers further underpin this stable impression. In keeping with the overall design themes of stance and stability, even the roof rails have been rethought, adding an additional stylish black element.
Robust, sturdy and stylish
At the back the hatch is recessed into the curves of the rear wings and the seamlessly integrated rear light clusters. The pronounced curvature of the rear screen is futuristically impressive, blending cleverly into the lower black elements of the rear roof spoiler, which also carries the high mounted rear brake light. The substantial rear bumpers also serve to further underline the broad stance, neatly adding to the overall impression of well thought through robustness.
Seen from any angle the new Opel Mokka expresses exactly what it should. A car that can comfortably take on adventurous journeys without sacrificing either elegance or functionality in design.

Three ECOTEC® engine choices, a naturally aspirated 1.6 with 85 kW (115 hp), a 1.4 Turbo with 103 kW (140 hp) and a 1.7 CDTI turbo diesel with 93 kW (130 hp) and a massive 300 Nm of torque provide stress free economical power.
Manual or auto, 2- or 4-wheel drive
A choice of transmissions means that the 1.4 Turbo and the 1.7 CDTI can be equipped with either manual or automatic 6-speed transmission. To enhance the go-anywhere nature of the new Opel Mokka the Opel Intelligent “Active on Demand” all wheel drive system is available with either. It smoothly, seamlessly and automatically transfers up to 50% of the power to the rear wheels under demanding conditions. The result is immediate extra traction to cope with rough or slippery conditions, regardless of whether they come on slippery streets or gravel tracks.
Full-size intelligent control
All the manual transmission variants of the new Opel Mokka are fitted with the fuel saving Opel Start/Stop system. Other standard features that enhance the driving experience across the range include Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, ABS with Electronic Brake Distribution, Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control systems to improve driving comfort and safety over rising or dropping terrain.
